They say "You learn new things everyday". True that, yesterday I got to teach Gavin, a year 2 student, how to create a tour using Google Earth. But man, becoming a teacher is tough. You have to be patient, calm and let them work independently. Me and Sydrich had a bit of time constraint problem at first but we never Gavin (haha get it?) and finally managed to complete a very nice tour of the United States. Overall, it was a great experience being a teacher and interacting with the kids :)

So China is trying to loosen the one-child policy which it has been imposing for the past 40 years. The first thing that came to my mind is the screams of happiness from traditional Chinese families. Something like "挺好! 挺好! we now have a better chance at getting a boy!".
The loosen of this policy means everything to the aforementioned families. They can deliver more children, which leads to higher chances of getting a boy (probability, go figure). China is doing this perhaps due to these facts:
- Baby boys carry on family names, hence sustaining the bloodline of the family
- Baby boys are more capable of carrying more workloads, hence better working productivity and contribute greater to China's economy. (no offense to girls reading this blog though; as if there are any..)
Hope I answered the question,. Looking forward to writing more blogs XD
